I believe eating breakfast is not just about eating breakfast. The entire act is a symbol of something else, which I think is a certain joy for life. It might be a small thing, waking up to prepare a little breakfast for yourself, but now that we have been through so much we finally know - it’s the little moments that sustain us, not the big ones.
